Sadly today brings us the very last 2010 Vans Warped Tour Fashion Blog from our dear friend Juliet Simms of Automatic Loveletter. She’s taught us many things this summer like how to dress like a cowboy and a pirate, less clothing is sometimes the way to go, and how feathers makes everything better.

In her last blog, Juliet wraps up her findings in a nice little summer fashion recap for you. We also added in a few extra photos of friends, fans, and Juliet rocking out with Automatic Loveletter!

You know you’re back to the real world when people start looking at you with dirty looks and “Where the what? Who the hell? Where did that person come from?” question marks on peoples’ faces. Haha!
A week after Warped and I’m sitting here in NYC… in a hotel room… missing ALL of my Warped Tour family :-(
Let’s recap, shall we?
We were brought back to the 60’s with boys dressing like summertime Beatles, skintight skinny jeans, 60’s style cutoffs and Beatles-esque boots.
Taking it to the 70s with daisy/Indian war-painted faces, girls letting their natural hair show and leaving it pretty untamed or sporting braids with flowers, beads, headbands, feathers and more in it.

The wiiiiindy city, AKA Chicago, will be the home for the next installment of the Macy’s MStyleLab Unplugged Tour featuring Every Avenue!

The FREE show will be kicking off at the Macy’s at 111 N. State Street, Chicago, IL 60602 at 2PM!

The concert is FREE and if you spend $50 or more you gain access to a meet and greet with the band and a free MStyleLab CD produced by FILTER!

The hottest tour of the summer can get grueling and sweaty but that doesn’t mean you can’t look great under the scorching heat or even the monsoon rain. Warped Tour is all about the music, punk rockin it, and having fun and this summer, we found that the top fashion necessities for the tour were aviator shades, cropped band tees, and vintage combat boots.

Music fans, it’s that time of year again - we want to hear YOUR voice! To show our support for some of our favorite emerging artists, we’re letting RAGGED readers vote for one of the bands to win a coveted feature story in the upcoming holiday issue! We rounded up five four incredible bands from which to vote: The Narrative, Amely, The Private Life of David Reed, Mickey Factz, and last but not least, Jackson Wetherbee. Macy‘s and American Rag are pleased to bring you “Mad Picks,” a collection by Good Charlotte‘s Benji and Joel Madden! This is a collection of American Rag clothes that are handpicked and stamped for approval by the Maddens and will be available at select Macy‘s stores and at macys.com!

To celebrate this collaborative effort, Benji and Joel Madden will be performing FREE intimate in-store acoustic concerts in the Macy’s Juniors departments at select Macy’s stores around the country!
Attendees will have the chance to get autographs from the Maddens as well as enter sweepstakes to win tickets for the upcoming Good Charlotte tour. Customers who spend $50 or more will also get VIP access to meet the Maddens and receive a download card for an exclusive acoustic track of Good Charlotte’s new single, “Like It’s Her Birthday.” Fans will also have the chance to pre-order the group’s forthcoming album, Cardiology.
