I’ve been a huge fan of Abigail Lorick’s eponymous line, Lorick, for a few seasons now. If the name sounds familiar to you it’s because a large chunk of Blair Waldorf’s GG wardrobe comes out of that New York showroom. Her SS 2010 collection though is by far her best. It’s structured and classic but young at the same time with sheer paneling rendering classic pieces casual and lingerie inspired looks in conservative cuts. This is exactly the way you should be dressing for spring’s return to girlish style. Check out more looks after the jump.

The Video/Collaboration/Fashion-porn that is Lady Gaga, featuring Beyonce’s Telephone video is finally out. We’re pretty sure Gaga’s channeling Madge in Desperately Seeking Susan on the bottom. The song may be rubbish, but the video is pretty great, although it’s oddly once again about poisoning your boyfriend to death.  This time Beyonce get’s in on the fun, poisoning her own boyfriend, and possibly even stealing the whole show from Gaga.

I’m so into these sunglasses, largely because they remind me of Dylan’s wayfarers in ‘Don’t Look Back’. While I don’t think Dylan would ever be so affected as to wear leather-coated-flat-top-sunglasses particular ones, people who read fashion blogs are, so you’re in luck. Pick em up here.

This is Pop C.R.E.A.M. from Pop’s Spring/Summer 2010 issue features Lindsey, Hanne Gaby and a slew of other young-uns pent up in a manor. Sort of what IMG housing might look like if it were based out of Hyannis Port. Shot by one of the most compelling portrait artists out there today, Tina Barney, the ed showcases some of Spring’s best looks in an aesthetically decadent way.

Exciting news today! One of our favorite RAGGED alums, Rooney, will be releasing a brand new album, Eureka, this Spring - June 8th to be precise.  For their third full-length release, the band has returned to their roots to write and produce the entire record themselves. The resulting 12 tracks have been described as a prime example of “the band’s knack for creating melodic hooks, reverberating guitars and heartfelt harmonies,” and we simply couldn’t be more excited to hear it. Stay tuned for more info and peeks into the release, and in the meantime, have fun re-reading our 2007 interview with the band as they were preparing to release their second album.

So everybody’s had a bit of a girl crush on Lissy Trullie since Ryan McGinley took his naked frolicking pictures of the then unknown.
