Joanna Newsom is not your typical folk girl. For starters, she’s taken the whole folk rock thing to the next level busting out a harp, which is way more hardcore than a guitar or lute. But perhaps more importantly, while she sticks to folk girl staples like eyelet cotton and, er - I guess that’s all they wear - she throws in interesting surprises like layers of tulle or tribal prints, which you know we love.  So we put together a few dream pieces for her. Acne’s deceptively simply but must have tiered tank, Daughters of the Revolution’s long embrace skirt, One Vintage’s Carmela jacket, No. 6 golden clogs, and American Rag’s floral romper.  Joanna’s new album comes out February 23rd, so you’ve still got some time to shop.
