“I had no idea I was actually getting tattooed in the video…”
If you’re well-versed on the new issue of RAGGED, you know we’re in the midst of a love affair with the dangerously fun duo known as Breathe Carolina. In our article “The Call of the Wild” (which you can download for free here), the guys reference the making of the video for a track called “Blackout” relating themselves as the hosts of a great party every time they play a show, allowing fans to let loose and have fun. As of today, the video has now premiered, and you’re invited to watch the party of the year in which the band goes all out, including getting an actual tattoo for the making of the video...
“I had no idea I was actually getting tattooed in the video,” notes vocalist/guitarist David Schmitt. “At first I wasn’t down, but when the artist told me to get a unicorn, I was into the idea. I now have a very permanent reminder of the making of this video! This is better than the “F**K” I had tatted on my shoulder once while I was super drunk. My Grandma was bummed when she saw that… I think she might prefer this one…”
Watch the full video below, and be sure to pick up their new album Hell Is What You Make It in stores now. We love it, and even the NY Times calls it “one of the best pure pop albums of the year.” Don’t miss out!
