Alexia and Anissa from Eyes Set To Kill have delivered blog #2 as our 2010 Warped Tour Fashion Correspondents. This time around, they give you the 1-2-3 on how to customize your own style.

Do It Yourself: Cut Up, Rip, and Tie
A lot of our favorite fashions on warped tour are definitely the DIY outfits worn by fans and musicians. Anyone can customize their style by cutting, tying, and even ripping their favorite band shirt or pants to make them fit however they desire.
- The easiest way to customize your shirt (which we have seen a lot of guys do on the road) is cut off the sleeves to make a simple and summer friendly tank. This type of tank can fit in so many different scenes from metal to indie 
-Cut off shorts seem to be getting more and more popular as a grunge look. They are perfect for on stage and easy to make! (for those like us who hold on to old jeans and for some reason can’t let them go, making your old favorite jeans into shorts is a fun and free project!) Dig through your garage for old jeans or any other pants that you put away for winter and cut them according to your summer style!
-There are so many different ways to cut plain tees into more stylish tops. You can cut them into off the shoulders, tanks, halters etc. Anissa and I love to customize our own shirts for on stage: we cut them, tie them, and even sometimes we rip them. We will be at the Ragged tent this summer so we can show everybody how they could customize their own shirts to fit their own bodies and style.
